I’m Christina Rosato, founder of Bodhi & Prana Yoga for Wellness. For over 25 years, I’ve worked as a social worker, walking alongside families, communities, and teams through moments of challenge, healing, and transformation. My passion has always been helping others find their purpose and path—while continuing to walk my own.
My Story
My journey to yoga began long before I ever stepped onto a mat. At the age of five, I discovered a love for movement through tap dance, which quickly expanded into ballet and modern dance. Dance became my first language of self-expression, and I carried it with me through college, where I served as president of my university’s dance club for three years.
After graduation, I searched for ways to continue dancing as an adult, but in 1999, opportunities were limited. Life moved forward—I began my career, became a mother, and poured myself into the work of service.
In 2019, my partner introduced me to yoga. At first, I found it frustrating—I was out of shape and unsure of the practice. But I kept showing up, attending classes at my local studio, even if I didn’t fully understand what yoga was offering. Then came the pandemic, and like many, I stepped away from the mat.
In 2024, I returned to yoga—not just to support my partner, who had begun yoga teacher training, but to reconnect with myself. I started taking online classes and found a teacher whose approach resonated deeply. Through her guidance and my partner’s insights, I began to understand yoga as a spiritual journey, not just a physical practice. It filled a gap I hadn’t realized was there—reconnecting me to movement, meaning, and a sense of inner purpose.
In May 2025, I attended the Sedona Yoga Festival, where I met Sarah Finger and learned about her upcoming yoga teacher training through Deepak Chopra’s Gaja Collective. Three days later, I enrolled. It felt like a homecoming—a return to teaching, to movement, and to building community through embodied wisdom.
Bodhi & Prana Yoga for Wellness is the next step in my journey. It’s a space for growth, healing, and connection. I’m honored to share it with you.
